*Kids sweat a lot at practices and races. They should bring their
stuff home to dry and that includes boots.
*Extra socks and gloves are a good idea.
*Good long john for the bottoms and boys might want a pair of
underwear that has extra cloth to not freeze their privates. I hand
sewed a piece wind block material to a pair of underwear.
*Pack a small snack. After practice they are hungry and have a long
wait till dinner time.
*I always look at second hand stores for under armor stuff and I've
found ski bags at second hand stores too.
*Looking for fund raising ideas, got any? Bottle redemption center in
Kingfield has an account for the nordic team. Make sure you say nordic
and not alpine, they have one too.
*Practice before a race is usually longer. Coaches need to wax all the
skis for next days race.
*Girls should not wear earrings, it freezes their ears!
