Parents,
How do we want to coordinate lunches for the ski racers next week? We will need to know the total number of racers and how many lunches (3?) Is there a parent that would be willing to coordinate lunches?
Perhaps someone could break the task down into sections and I could post the food/materials needed here on the blog and parents could sign up for the bit they want to provide? We should still have someone be the coordinator, do we have an volunteer? Please email me with your ideas on school email.

From Buz:
Lunches will need to be coordinated by parents. We usually have had
folks organize/bring sandwich stuff: bread, cheese, bagels, cream
cheese, oranges, bananas, water, etc. A few cookies/brownies, but not
until the days racing is done! It would be great if a few parents could
organize this so we can focus on other important things, like skis!

This is how the Downhill Ski Racers are doing it:
Hello Parents -
I will be shopping for lunches this weekend & I would like to know if
any of your racers have allergies to any foods? My thoughts are ham &
cheese, & turkey sandwiches. If your children prefer one over the
other, please let me know as well as mayo or mustard. I am planning on
wheat bread but if your child will only eat white, please let me know.
It would be nice if you could send along a batch of cookies, brownies,
or bars for the racers, too. I will have oranges & bananas, water, & of
course, sandwiches, for lunches. I'm use to feeding girls (believe me
my girls eat) however, I'm not sure of quantity for feeding growing
boys/men. If you have a son with a growing appetite, please let me know
so I can buy accordingly (there is a nice grocery store in P.I., so we
will be able to replenish our supply, if need be. Thanks for your input
& have a nice day & weekend. Hope to see you @ states.
